I’ve got a Nikon D40…turned out to be a really nice camera for what I use it for. Might move up to the D200 if I think about it enough.

Four to check into:

Sony A200 or A300. They use every Minolta Maxxum AF lens made since 1985. They have Sony’s version of image stabilization in the camera body. They have dust removal for the sensor. Most all accessories for the Konica-Minolta D5 & D7 DSLR cameras are compatible, as are some from the Maxxum line.

Pentax K10D and K20D. Every K-mount lens made since 1975 will mount to them. The newer AF K-mount lenses are compatible. Pentax also has its image stabilization in the body as well as dust removal for the sensor.

The March issue of Shutterbug Magazine has a full review of the K20D.

You can always check consumer reports (they have a website also) for reviews about basically anything. They always have good information and are very reliable.

Oh It’s a no brainer i would definately go with the canon eos 40d
it has a 10megapixel censor, 3inch l.c.d display , and is used on televison , vh1′s show THE SHOT featured this camera it’s outstanding picture quality sets it apart from other cameras.
the eos 40d also can come with a 28mm by 135mm kit lens.
go to usa.canon.com for more info. on this camera. in my opinion, canon is the most trusted brand

price= around 1,300$

Canon and Nikon both make excellent cameras in your budget.

Go to http://dpreview.com and compare the different models side by side. See which features appeal to you. Then go to a real camera store, and handle the different cameras, get a feel for them.

Remember, when you buy a dslr, you are buying into an entire system of lenses and accessories, you’ll need to think about the cost and availability of lenses and other gear you will need.

I bet most of the photographers that used the old FD lens mounts won’t agree when Canon changed to the EF lens mount.

For under $1,000 a Pentax K10D with 18-55 has class leading technology and the most backward compatibility with older lenses. They are getting hard to find as the new K20 starts shipping in a few weeks (around $1300)

Whats up are using Wordpress for your site platform? I’m new to the blog world but I’m trying to get started and create my own. Do you require any html coding expertise to make your own blog? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello this is kind of of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding knowledge so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!

Hi there! Do you know if they make any plugins to protect against hackers? I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on. Any recommendations?
