What is the best Digital SLR camera?
So, my photography skills have exceed the capability of a standard digital camera, so i want to upgrade to a digital SLR camera so that i can start doing photography as a more professional hobby. I am interested in a camera that excepional in taking pictures of Action and Sports, landscapes, Macro, and Night/Low Light. What is the best camera, or type of camera for this, that is outrageously priced??

Digital SLRs group test
It used to be that if you wanted better photos than your pocket snapshot could provide, you traded up to a digital SLR (DSLR); a larger sensor and the ability to change the lens in use providing a better quality picture.

????? Not sure I understand the question! Do you want the best all round camera or the most expensive. Canon and Nikon both have good models on the market, depending what you want, some of the new sony models and PENTAX also have quite good reviews, however bear in mind you will need a Range of lenses to suit the wide scope you are looking at. You need to know a lot more about photography and the camera itself to use an SLR so look at investing in a decent course or several good books too. Although a decent compact will do most of the subjects you are interested in quite easily an SLR needs a lot more handling, unless you are going to just use on auto mode, but then you lose some of the benefits of being able to control the shot.
nikon d300.period
this is for a camera that is still in the price range for amateur, but with specs of pro cameras
you can find some used now at real bargain because a lot of people is looking for cameras with video feature too, that, it is a great stupidity…if you want record video you need a video recorder..hybrids, never produce good results….
seeing as your new to the dslr world (as am i)
i would strongly reccomend the Canon 550d
its the best entry level dslr on the market
its 18 mp and i swear it has a mode for everything
if you will also be interested in video-ing with it, look up on youtube
“canon eos 550d test”
another name for the 550d is the Rebel t2i
its an awesome camera and i can’t wait to get mine!
Q: “What is the best Digital SLR camera?”
A: There is no best. There are many good brands, and many bad models within those brands.
Q: “So, my photography skills have exceed the capability of a standard digital camera”
A: I’m assuming you mean a ‘compact camera’ (commonly referred to as a ‘point and shoot’ camera)
Q: “I am interested in a camera that excepional in taking pictures of Action and Sports, landscapes, Macro, and Night/Low Light.”
A: This has more to do with the type of lenses than the camera itself (although a bigger camera sensor is supposedly better in low light photography)
Q: “that is outrageously priced??”
A: So you are saying money is no object? (You are saying you want an expensive camera?). In that case Hasselblad and Leica make very expensive SLRs (and they are considered very good quality. I myself have not had the pleasure of using one of these beauties unfortunately).
Have fun!!
Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any suggestions for novice blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.
Wow! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a completely different subject but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Outstanding choice of colors!
