I’d go with a Nikon D90…

I will talk in terms of Nikon

matters what you do with it. If you are a beginner, the D3100 has the “best bang for the buck”

qualitywise, the more expensive the better the quality, but that does not mean the beginner dslr cameras are crappy, they are in fact, very well built and sturdy.

For the beginner-mid, the D7000
for Mid-pro, the D700, for Pro, the D3x

Pentax K-x

The Pentax SLR has the image motion compensation in the camera body, so any additional lenses you may buy will be cheaper. It’s also smaller and lighter than the Canon and Nikon SLRs, even though it has the same size sensor.

I’ve owned this camera for over a year – excellent.

Here’s some examples of what I’m getting. Read my shot notes, some I did with my Fuji

Nikon D3000, takes very good quality photos (like any nikon camera) and is not very expensive at all. Fantastic for beginners because it’s so easy to use. It’s a good size camera that isn’t too big, yet not too small.

Hey,

Could you specify the max amount of that “buck”? It really changes everything when you say it..

I recommend Canon EOS XSi, T2i and Nikon D3100 and D90.

Here’s a post called ‘Buying a DSLR, what’s important, megapixels, features, brand, price, quality and which one to buy – http://www.the-dslr-photographer.com/2009/03/which-dslr-to-buy.html

Good luck! The site has many more tuorials, tips, reviews and guides!

I love Canon!

One that fits within your budget.

Whether you are a beginner or a pro, all cameras operate the same.

Visit a camera store and hold a few different brands in your hands and see which fit the best.

Brands? Nikon, Canon, Pentax and Sony are all good systems. Which you choose will have more to do with matching the system to the type photos you tend to shoot.

Here is what I found on the JD Power website

Single-Lens Reflex Segment – JD Power
For a third consecutive year, Nikon ranks highest in the segment, achieving an overall satisfaction score of 711 on a 1,000-point scale. Nikon performs particularly well in picture quality. Canon and Pentax tie to follow Nikon in the segment, each receiving a score of 697. Canon performs particularly well in functions/performance while Pentax performs well in operability

Here are some models that I think are well worth researching:

Nikon D3000 10MP DSLR Digital Camera with 18-55mm VR Lens – $449US
EOS Rebel XS (1000D) 10MP DSLR Digital Camera Kit w/18-55mm IS Lens – $449US
Pentax K-x 12MP DSLR with 18-55mm Zoom (has HD Video also) – $550US

the first link listed below is to a web page that lists the 3 DSLR cameras I am recommending. This list will let you compare features and specs, also it has links to reviews of the cameras, the reviews include sample images from the cameras.

As far as camera stores in Dubai go, below is a link I found that may be of assistance.

Hope this helps.

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission. Do you know any techniques to help protect against content f

Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your post seem to be running off the screen in Opera. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know. The layout look great though! Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Thanks
