Why is not my Canon EOS 600D saving in RAW and JPEG?

I have just bought a Canon EOS 600D but when I choose to shoot in each RAW and JPEG and I plug the camera into the laptop or computer, each files are JPEG files.
If make the camera shoot in just RAW the files will be RAW when I plug them into the personal computer but it does not appear to be able to shoot in both?

Is there one thing wrong with the camera or can this effortlessly be fixed?
