What are some pros/cons for the Sony Alpha 200 SLR camera?
i'm new to the proffesional camera business, and im wondering if this would be a great 'begginner' camera for me.
Also, if anyone owns this camera, can you tell me some pro's and con's about it?
Thanks in Advance.

Now, I dont know much about the Sony SLRs.
Although my personal preference is Nikon, I can link to some reviews on the camera you mentioned.

I would like to point out that the Nikon D40 seems to offer more than this camera, for around the same price.
But aside from that, it looks like a good camera.
IMO the best feature of the A200 is the in-camera image stabilization. Plus the fact that Sony has a Carl Zeiss T* line of lenses. Also, the ability to use every legacy Minolta Maxxum AF lens made since 1985 is a major plus.
Cons?
You’ll never have to pay for image stabilization when you buy a lens.
You’ll be different from the Nikon/Canon herd.
Hey! I could have sworn I’ve been to this website before but after reading through some of the post I realized it’s new to me. Anyhow, I’m definitely glad I found it and I’ll be bookmarking and checking back frequently!
